Sun 10th GIVE THANKS TO THE "LANC" TOUR On this tour we travel to the area of Lincolnshire that is famous for the large amount of airfields that were home to the thousands of aircrew during WW2 of the Lancaster Bomber which was immortalised when 617 squadron (The Dambusters) flew their missions to the dams of the Rhur. A stop will be made at Metheringham where coffee and biscuits will be served. A short journey then takes us on to east Kirkby, the home to one of the only three Lancasters able to move under their own power, plus lots more to see and enjoy.
